A Note from our Brewers:
Hello everyone!
Greetings from the East Bank of the Cuyahoga! Like most of Downtown, for us brewers here at Collision Bend, it certainly has been a long cold lonely winter. The good news is, here comes the sun! Having the restaurant closed for the past few months, we kept ourselves busy in the brewery producing our standards in cans and a few new ones along the way. One of the positives to come out of it all, for us, was the creation of our small batch, 16 oz. canning series. We are pleased to say that we will be making this part of our regular schedule! The next one in line is a fun collaboration we brewed with Heinen’s, who have always been super supportive of us and all local brands. The beer is a delicious Imperial Red Ale called Sprite Lightning. Look for it at your local Heinen’s store throughout the month of April. Also on the horizon is the return of your summer favorite, Lake Erie Sunset American Wheat. Brewed with a blast of blood orange, this beer is a must have for your fridge. We also produced our first house made Hard Ciders over the winter. Teaming up with local grower Quarry Hill Orchards, we produced our Collision Bend Dry Cider and Collison Bend Semi-Sweet Cider. A blend of Granny Smith, Winesap and Goldrush Apples were chosen by our friends at Quarry Hill to produce these delicious drinks. They are both available on draft in our pub, so you’ll have to stop on down to get a taste. We are excited to have the restaurant back open and we are working hard to keep your summer favorites brewing. Cheers to an awesome start to 2021!
Your friendly neighborhood brewers,
Luke and Ben
